SkyCity Adelaide's Host Responsibility team is expanding, and we are currently looking for a Senior Manager Host Responsibility to drive innovation and continuous uplift in SkyCity's Host Responsibility practices.
About the role Reporting to our General Manager Host Responsibility, this role will partner with teams across SkyCity to provide subject matter expert advice and guidance in respect of policies, technology, processes and controls related to Host Responsibility. By leveraging data insights from internal and external resources, this role will also ensure responsible gambling practices are at the forefront of SkyCity's operations.
Providing strategic support to the General Manager Host Responsibility and acting as their delegate during periods of absence or when additional assistance is required, this role will also include engagements with regulators, customers, SkyCity Senior Leadership team, and SkyCity Directors as required.
Our Senior Manager Host Responsibility will play a key role in cultivating a culture of responsible gambling within SkyCity's casino environment.
About you The successful candidate will have previous experience in responsible gaming, preferably in a casino or similar environment. With a strong understanding of gambling addiction, responsible gaming practices, and relevant laws and regulations, the successful candidate will also have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills and experience utilizing data analysis to support strategy development and innovation.
Leadership and communication skills will be critical for this role, along with the ability to adapt and deal with changing priorities. The ability to identify gaps and enhance existing systems and processes, coupled with determining suitable improvements whilst managing the change process will also be key, as well possessing a commitment to promoting responsible gaming and ensuring the well-being of casino patrons.
