They are dedicated to fostering growth and success, supporting both their clients' goals and their team's professional aspirations.About the roleAs a Senior Manager, you will work in the IFRS Advisory team to provide a range of advice and value to key stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesWork within the IFRS Advisory team to research, discuss, and determine appropriate conclusions for applying accounting standards;Perform and assist with technical consultations for Sydney-based clients, providing both general advice and advanced tactical accounting solutions;Support the preparation of accounting advice and IFRS implementation and compliance projects for external clients, including emerging climate-related financial disclosures;Participate in regular meetings with the national and international IFRS Advisory teams, with opportunities to present and discuss your insights;Apply experience gained in a professional setting to contribute to the development of the growing CFO Advisory team;Contribute to team growth by building your professional profile and supporting marketing and business development initiatives.Technical Skills & QualificationsProven knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB);CA or CPA qualified, with relevant tertiary education;Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, or assurance;Strong interest in accounting matters and interest or desire to be exposed to ESG/carbon-related financial disclosure standard;Expertise in consulting, particularly in transformation, strategy, and project management;Exceptional project management, research, and presentation abilities;Outstanding communication skills with a strong capability to build and manage stakeholder relationships.If you are interested in learning more about this position, please contact Paris on 0412 123 587 / ****** at Kaizen Recruitment or apply via the attached link.
