THE ROLE
The Senior Manager, Construction Procurement (High-rise Redevelopment), is responsible for providing leadership to the High-Rise Redevelopment Procurement team and contributing to the strategic direction of the procurement function, establishing capability development initiatives, and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support delivery of the Big Housing Build – High-rise Redevelopment Program, Australia's largest urban renewal project.
The Big Housing Build just got bigger, and the Senior Manager, Construction Procurement is required to identify strategic opportunities that drive value for money outcomes for the whole of government whilst maintaining compliance with relevant legislative and policy obligations.

Engage and advise key internal stakeholders on policies, procedures, systems and standards to enable delivery of effective, outcomes-focused procurement activities across the program within legislative and regulatory requirements, while delivering cost savings and operational efficiencies.Monitor and report on high priority issues, risks and trends, and prepare and present reports and briefs to various stakeholders.Overseeing, monitoring or delivering procurement activities to ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.COVID-19 VACCINATION
