About the role:This role will provide key support to meet Port Waratah's business planning, operating and reporting requirements, and work with business partners to guide effective budgeting, forecasting, and decision making.
Key Responsibilities include:Completing month-end reporting processes and variance analysis.Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective forecasting and financial reporting.Preparing Board and Audit & Risk Committee papers.Analysing financial information to provide insights to support decision-making.Coordinating the annual financial planning cycle including the drafting of the annual Business Plan.Supporting continuous improvement across the financial planning cycle.Desired Skills and Experience:What we are looking for:
Relevant qualifications in Finance or Accounting, including CA/CPA qualification or working toward CA/CPA qualification are essential.Excellent communication and engagement skills.Good understanding of accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.Experience in management accounting and ERP systems in a similar size organisation.Competitive Remuneration, including 18.5% Superannuation and bonus programme.
