Are you an experienced Senior Supervisor seeking a new and exciting challenge? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Emeco are currently seeking a hands-on, dynamic Senior Maintenance Supervisor to take the lead on a brand-new project!
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Emeco fleet of mobile equipment is maintained in a safe and mechanically optimum condition, resulting in maximum availability for the client whilst complying with the Emeco Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan.

Ensure these plans are converted into the operational plan and executed per the plan.Engage identified external resources for major shutdowns. E.g. OEM Vendors and specialist resources, ensuring nil downtime attributed to lack of adequate resources.Approve work and purchase orders including work plans, and requirements.Ensure all breakdown activities are appropriately planned.Manage accident damage repairs and ensure all necessary evidence is collected and prepared, in an appropriate manner to ensure recovery from the client.Continually plan and review work crews and ensure appropriate resources exist throughout the contract, and any absences are appropriately coveredReview crew safety performance and ensure safety KPI's are met and exceededEnsure all safety statistics are recorded in MYOSH and relevant systems.Ensure all Stanmore requirements are met around Take 5, JSA, Permits etc.Manage the strategic communication stream between the operation work crews and supervisors, and the Emeco maintenance support team.Required Skills & Experience: Extensive experience with the maintenance of heavy earth moving equipment frequently used in the mining industry.Minimum 5 years heavy workshop and field maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity.Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all layers of an organisation and with any stakeholder group.Sets and implements clear standards of integrity, consistently demonstrates behaviours supporting organisational values and addresses inappropriate behaviour actions.Proven strong client management and liaison skills and has good understanding of customer operations and equipment usage.Knowledge of what drives equipment productivity in the mining environment.Commercially astute and able to handle complex deals and negotiations.Able to apply business, financial and technical strategic thinking concepts.Able to manage the capital expenditure program in relation to programming, cost control and allocation.Strong leader with the ability to mentor, coach, and delegate tasksEducational and Technical Qualifications: Certificates: relevant nationally recognised trade qualificationCertificate IV in Leadership and Management or equivalentDrivers LicenceAbout Emeco Emeco was founded in 1972 and is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: EHL).
