About the Role: The Senior Licensing Officer works within the Licensing Division to ensure that the assessment and determination of liquor licence applications is carried out to minimise the risk of alcohol-related harm. Core responsibilities include making decisions about liquor licence applications, managing a high volume workload, and answering queries from applicants and licensees.
Some of your duties will include: Assessing applications for risk of alcohol-related harm and/or complexity.Making decisions about granting applications under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998.Preparing correspondence and briefs for internal stakeholders on medium or higher risk applications.Maintaining information and documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
