Senior/Legal Counsel - Health Insurance

You will be joining a market-leading global health insurer based in Sydney or Melbourne as a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel with strong health insurance or general insurance legal experience.

About the Role Responsibilities include:
Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of health insurance matters, including policy development, regulatory compliance, and claims managementReview and draft contracts, policies, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulationsConduct legal research and analysis on global health insurance regulations and trendsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, and customer service, to address legal issues and support business initiativesMonitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the health insurance industry and advise the company on potential impactsProvide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory mattersAbout You You have:
Between 3-10PQE with relevant legal qualifications and practising certificateStrong private practice trainingExperience with general insurance and/or health insuranceAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
