1 x Ongoing full time role located in Mudgee1 x Temporary full time role (until June 2027) located in OrangeSalary starting from $106,025 pa + superWork with your community, for your community!Talent pool for upcoming opportunities within Local Land Services.Central Tablelands Local Land Services are currently seeking two proactive, hands-on Senior Land Services Officer's (NRM) to identify and manage a variety of priority landscapes and threatened species projects and programs throughout the region.About the RoleLead project teams & provide high quality natural resource management & sustainable agricultural information, advise & extension services to farmers, land managers & the community.As part of a varied and dynamic regionally dispersed team you will:Engage with landholders and the community to lead and deliver on ground priority projects, as well as work with the broader NRM team to identify new project opportunitiesManage projects delivering on ground services, working closely with government, industry and private partnersCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams within LLS and build strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders within the regionNegotiate and resolve complex natural resource management issuesDeliver emergency planning, preparedness, response and recovery servicesMonitor, evaluate, report and improve programs and projects and contribute to strategic planningAbout YouIdeally you'll have:A degree in agriculture, environmental science, natural resource management, biosecurity or emergency management. If not, you'll have an equivalent level of industry knowledge and experienceA passion for natural resource managementThe ability to work closely with and understand the needs of both landowners and community groupsSound prioritisation skills when managing conflicting goals and deadlinesKnowledge of landscapes and threatened speciesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA positive and solution focused attitude with the ability to think creatively and solve complex problems for both yourself and others as they ariseDemonstrated project management experience combined with proven relationship management and partnership developmentAs an essential requirement of the role, you'll also need to have a current NSW Driver Licence, and the capacity and willingness to travel throughout Central Tablelands NSW as required.How to ApplyIf this role sounds ideal to you, please apply via our online portal by submitting your resume and a brief cover letter outlining how your skills and experience match what we are looking for.
