An exciting role based in the CBD for an experienced Senior Labour Relations Risk Manager to join a global tech company's Legal team.
Work for a Global leader in tech, a brand we all know and love. Your role as their Senior Labour Relations Risk Manager is to assist their legal team and enforcement owners to mitigate risks, prepare case files, and recommend strategic outcomes.
Role Responsibilities: Serve as the primary representative of the company in conciliation meetings with the Australian Fair Work Commission (FWC) and other labor arbitration bodies. Clearly articulate the company's position, policies, and relevant regulations during conciliation proceedings. Negotiate and advocate for mutually beneficial resolutions while safeguarding the company's interests and adhering to legal guidelines. Conduct thorough analyses of all claims and evidence to inform strategic decision-making regarding arbitration. Gather, organize, and maintain comprehensive case files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality. Identify emerging risks, regulatory trends, and arbitration case outcomes impacting company operations, policies, and employee relations in conjunction with PC2. Develop proactive risk mitigation strategies and policy recommendations to minimise legal exposure and enhance compliance. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and legal on enforcement-related risks, trends, and conciliation and arbitration outcomes. Key Requirements: 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level. Bachelor's degree in law. Experience engaging with regulatory agencies in permit applications or equivalent. Experience developing and implementing standards, policies and programs or equivalent. Master's degree or equivalent. Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organisation to act without having a direct reporting relationship.
