Supportive team environment Full-time, permanent role Hybrid, flexible work model About Us Harness Racing Victoria (HRV), a statutory body, is responsible for the control, development and promotion of the Victorian harness racing industry.

We work closely with the other Victorian racing codes to support the ethical treatment of our animals, as well as ethical wagering.
The Opportunity The Senior Intelligence Analyst is responsible for:
Intelligence Analysis : Collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence reports for integrity and compliance. Anti-Doping Oversight : Manage HRV's Drug Control Program and provide strategic advice on resource utilization. Database Management : Oversee case management and intelligence databases, ensuring efficient operations. Policy Development : Assist in creating and enforcing protocols for information collection and handling. Stakeholder Engagement : Build relationships with law enforcement, sport regulators, and other racing codes. Qualifications & Experience Intelligence Methodologies : Familiarity with intelligence frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, including the intelligence cycle and risk management. Research & Investigation : Proven experience in conducting thorough research using open-source intelligence, databases, and confidential records. Report Writing : Ability to produce clear and structured intelligence reports, including risk assessments and strategic analyses. Data Analysis Tools : Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) for data visualization and interpretation. Anti-Doping Knowledge : Understanding of equine sampling policies and anti-doping enforcement; willingness to learn is essential. Tertiary Qualifications : Relevant qualifications are highly regarded. Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with the Australian Harness Racing Rules is advantageous.
