Senior Insurance Officer, Queensland Treasury

Your new opportunityAs a Senior Insurance Officer, you will play a vital role in the strategic and operational administration of the Queensland Government Insurance Fund (QGIF) self-insurance scheme, cross QGIF projects, and Government correspondence related to insurance.
Your main focus will be on supporting the delivery of QGIF insurance services through critical engagement with insured entities, data collection, and the implementation of key improvement and project initiatives.
In this role, you will:• Provide advice to Queensland Government entities on QGIF's self-insurance arrangements and the cover it provides• Coordinate the annual QGIF policy renewal process, including data collection (insurable assets and insurance particulars); quality assurance; data warehousing; invoicing; and premium collection• Maintain QGIF policy details within QGIF's policy and claims management system ('Connect')• Coordinate and maintain the Queensland Government's commercial insurance register• Monitor the QGIF Inbox and enquiry line, and respond to enquiries in a professional and timely manner• Lead the implementation of major
