The commercial team is currently seeking an estimator to support their growing pipeline of works.
Projects include:

Reporting to and supporting the senior estimator, this role is for a driven and highly organised individual and would suit someone with experience in shop fitting or refurbishment works and looking to diversify and gain exposure to a variety of commercial project types. Projects are generally up to $200k in value and require someone with an excellent eye for detail and ability to pull together all aspects of the project. The level of documentation provided will vary from job to job and will usually require a site inspection. You will primarily be involved in the tender phase with a handover to the site supervisor when projects are awarded. You will however remain available for clarifications and assistance through out delivery of the project.
About you:
Sunshine Coast based with flexibility for occasional travel within SE-QLD when required.
Ability to form and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and understand large tender sets and commercial specifications when provided.
Ability to fill in the blanks and communicate assumptions clearly to clients when incomplete tender sets are provided.
Committed, reliable and organised.
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Methodical and patient personality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
Desire to be part of a supportive and close knit team
Skills and Experience:
An understanding of, and ability to plan and prepare schedules works for tender
Sales and Production estimating (Estimating for tenders & Procurement)
Ability to support site supervisors with procurement, BOQ's and project administration
Interfacing with clients and client representatives for VE and RFI's
Exposure to retail and hospitality shop fitting would be advantageous.
Ability to deal with people from all walks of life and always present in a manor that embodies the companies values
Review and interpretation of Tender documents, paying attention to critical tender elements.
