We work with clients over the lifecycle of their investments, advising on risks and insurance matters from acquisition to exit, including placing portfolio level insurance solutions. Our global practice consists of more than 150 professionals worldwide.About The RoleIn this position, you will be responsible for driving Marsh's PEMA business within Marsh and externally. This will be done by leading insurance due diligence engagements for private equity, corporate, and financial institution clients, and coordinating the services of various Marsh practices to bring the best of Marsh to our clients.You will utilize your insurance expertise to advise clients contemplating acquisitions, divestments, PPPs, and project financing activities.Core responsibilities will include:Contributing to the growth of the Marsh brand within the Australian and New Zealand marketPreparation and delivery of due diligence reportsCo-ordination of services provided by other practices within MarshMentoring and coaching of junior staff membersActing as a liaison to overseas PEMA professionals across the globeDeveloping and nurturing relationships with private equity firms, law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, and financial institutions with an aim of leveraging these into future business opportunitiesResponding to RFPsActive internal communication to keep abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditionsLiaising with internal Marsh practices to implement insurance placementsSkills and experience required:Experience in insurance broking and account management for corporate and/or global accountsPrior experience in a Due Diligence role, or demonstrated experience with clients considering M&A in an insurance broking context, FSRA Tier 1 complianceHighly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independentlyStrong relationship-building skillsStrong data analysis, research, report writing and verbal communication skillsProficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Elevate your career with Marsh – where your expertise and dedication shape success.
