The opportunity We have an opportunity for an Industrial Relations Advisor - Workplace Change to work with Enterprise Service/Research Unit leaders to actively diagnose, design, and deliver best practice people related change processes that meet our industrial relations and legislative obligations.

Your duties will include: Working with the Strategic People Partner, Enterprise Service Unit and Research Unit leaders to: - Design the end-to-end process of specific workplace change particularly relating to redundancy and relocation management; - Develop the consultation and communications strategy and implementation timeline.
Undertake the necessary risk analysis prior to implementing workplace change.
Ensure collaborative and consultative approaches to workplace change which meet or exceed legislative and industrial requirements.
Develop communications tools and templates for use throughout the workplace change process.
Consult with relevant stakeholders on the design, communications plan, and timelines (eg.
IR team, Communication) for the change project.
Working with the People Insights team, oversee the management, tracking and reporting of staffing impacts across the organisation.
Review the current support arrangements for impacted individuals, redesign as necessary improved individual support for impacted officers in line with the CSIRO Values.
Provide tailored advice that considers any overlapping or concurrent workplace changes including in relation to consultation with unions or other stakeholders.
Location: Any major CSIRO site considered Salary: AU$110k- AU119k pa plus 15.4% superannuation Tenure: Specified term of 8 months, Full-time.
Reference: 98144 To be considered you will need: Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, Business Management, Law, or other relevant discipline.
Extensive knowledge of relevant industrial and legal requirements relevant to organisational change, desirably within a government context.
Proven ability to work with leaders to understand business requirements, provide specialist advice on industrial and legislative requirements, develop the narrative and coach leaders to understand the procedural elements of the change.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing best practice on end-to-end change processes, including consultation, impacts and risk analysis, timeliness, role clarity, communications, and leader education.
Superior interpersonal skills exemplified by experience in influencing, establishing, and maintaining strong, collaborative working relations with internal and external stakeholders, including key regulatory bodies.
Significant track record of hands-on experience in managing or supporting individuals through all aspects of workplace change.
