They currently support sustainment and acquisition activities for both fixed and deployable communications assets at various locations.They have a permanent opportunity for a Senior ICT Engineer to join their growing team in Adelaide, SA.Your new role:As a Senior ICT Engineer you will be: Specifying, designing and implementing networks / ICT solutions to an advanced level, including servers, desktop systems, communications and application software and related back office services in accordance with required specifications and milestones.Establishing project specific networks / ICT solutions and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability.Supervising of the design and implementation of a system or part of a system by a small network / ICT engineering team Performing engineering activities in accordance with the requirements of the Business Management System.Contributing to project engineering teams, internal R&D activities and potentially providing services at off-site Customer premisesAbout youAs an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:Strong RHEL Linux configuration and administration skillsStrong engineering / build / procedural guide documentation skillsFundamental routing and switching configuration skillsExperience in building and administration of Windows Active Directory and Directory Services environmentsRelevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems.Demonstrated ability to lead a small team to meet objectives and provide mentorship to junior staff on an ongoing basis.Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions effectively and efficiently.Applicants must be Australian citizens and preferably have NV1 security clearance.For the opportunity to become part of their high performing team and excellent culture, please click "apply now".
