Collaborating closely with the Product Owner/IT Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to lead all front and back-end software development, including optimising user experience, developing new features to meet the growing needs of the business and resolving minor bugs/defects.The successful candidate will be working from our Head office based in Dry Creek, Adelaide.Responsibilities:Refine technical requirements and success criteria for Application Change RequestsWrite clean, modular, and maintainable code that adheres to best practicesMaintain reliability and stability of the application through testing and debugging activitiesIdentify and resolve bugs and defects in the application through analysis and troubleshootingDevelop comprehensive test plans and strategies in collaboration with the product teamOptimize application performance, scalability, and usability through code refactoring and system enhancements.Implement and maintain backend services and APIs for seamless integration of existing front-end componentsStay updated on industry best practices and emerging technology to propose application improvementsImplement and maintain best practices for cybersecurity, including regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and applying necessary patches and updates.Maintain accurate documentation and update information on Project Management Software (Kanban)About You:To be successful in the role, you will need:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field preferredStrong experience in .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, and related technologiesIn-depth knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) including database design, optimization, querying, and data manipulation.Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer) are advantageousDemonstrated experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and authentication mechanisms.Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps for deployment and managementStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative team environmentExcellent communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate technical conceptsAs an employer who embraces equal opportunity and diversity, we strongly encourage female, Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
