About the Role
This is a Fixed Term Position - 6 months
Reporting to the Manager, Gender Equity, the Senior Advisor Gender Equity will lead the implementation of DTP's Gender Equality Action Plan to increase gender equality within the department across the following 7 areas:
gender pay equity
gender composition at all levels of the workforce
gender composition of governing bodies
workplace sexual harassment
recruitment and promotion
gendered work segregation
leave and flexibility.
As the ideal candidate you will demonstrate skills, knowledge, and experience in:
Program design and implementation
Reporting and evaluation
Knowledge of gender equality
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant tertiary qualification relating to Gender Equality/ Behaviour Change/ Community Development, Human Resources, or other related professional discipline.
Identifying across DTP's Priority groups including culturally and linguistically diverse, LGBTIQA+, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, persons with disability, women.
