About the role
The Hydraulic Service Technician will be based at the workshop facility in Perth. There will be involvement in onsite repairs, servicing, and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication equipment. A significant amount of the work will involve mine shut down work in the Pilbara, with penalties and an extra daily rate for working away.
Key Responsibilities for the role
Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication equipment. Assist in providing estimates, options, and improvements to clients. Mine shut down work pertaining to hydraulics and lubrication. Assist and support other trades as required. Accurately record and document processes, maintenance, and activities. Achieve team targets in an efficient and cooperative manner. Skills & experience
Trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting). Tertiary training in Fluid Power. Solid experience working in the hydraulic industry and providing fluid power solutions on industrial and mining equipment. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team. Assist, train, and develop other trade personnel. Culture
