Specific activities will include, but are not limited to:Provide hydraulic services design & analysis on projects, design basis, scope of works specifications in accordance with industry standards on a variety of mid to top tier multi-disciplinary building projectsParticipate in design reviews, risk assessments, bid evaluations, construction support activities including RFI's, submittal reviews, site visits and design revisions/changeUndertake design, construction, and investigative reporting, implementing National Standards, Codes of Practice, and industry requirement of engineering practicesDeliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and timeProvide project coordination and management when neededCommunicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teamsBuild solid client relationships and representing the business with the local and regional marketsAbout you Ideally you meet the following criteria however it is not expected you will 'tick every box'.Hold a recognized Tertiary Engineering Qualification or other relevant qualificationEnsure registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry.Proven local experience in providing technical hydraulic services design & analysis on projects across a number of sectorsHave the ability to coordinate and understand relevant building services disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, and Environmentally Sustainable Design.Proven project experience in the building services sector across Infrastructure, Property & Buildings, Defence, Healthcare and Education. Mission critical facilities project experience an advantage but not essential.Possess a working knowledge of Australian building codes and standardsDemonstrate a history of effectively managing competing priorities, prioritizing work, and meeting tight deadlines.Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Capable project and people leader - train, and mentor junior engineers, coupled with effective communication skills at all levels.About WSP WSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 15 offices in Australia.
