About the Role The role is instrumental in the delivery of client-focused HR programs and services in: Recruitment Policy Learning and Development Change Management Safety and Wellbeing Workforce Planning Performance and Talent Management We are seeking applications from HR professionals who have a proven track record in business partnering and/or organisational design and change management who are looking to broaden their experience working across the HR landscape.
You have a customer-first, solution mindset ensuring you deliver on business requirements and provide optimal benefits and value for your customer.
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication skills, sound judgement and decision-making skills, attention to detail and exceptional people skills along with an understanding of NSW public sector employment practices.
You will leverage your stakeholder engagement and collaboration capability to meet project/change program deadlines and deliver results on time.
The role is Temporary until 31 December 2025.
Essential Requirements As the successful candidate, you will have: Manage and oversee the recruitment of staff for their client group, including advising on recruitment strategies and ensuring recruitment aligns to the NSWEC workforce plan and public sector recruitment practices.
Experience in undertaking and supporting job design activities including position description writing and job evaluation using accredited Mercer CED Job Evaluation Methodology.
Demonstrated experience in establishing strong stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively with business unit Directors and Managers to identify and address business/workforce issues which includes the analysis of workforce data to drive decision making within client groups.
Manage the provision of high-quality human resource services across NSWEC that meets client needs and complies with relevant public sector policies, practices, and legislative requirements.
Manage a range of projects for the client group including performance development, policy development, workforce management, learning and development.
Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
Satisfactory criminal record check result.
