The aim of this role is to:
Provide advice in relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, awards, policies and practices, in relation to contemporary human resource practice, particularly within the Queensland Public Sector, and ensure that practices within QBCC are consistent. Support HR Business Partners (HRBP) and the HR Division to deliver a range of HR advisory services and adopt a proactive approach to addressing issues as they arise. Analyse and interpret workforce data , assisting HRBP's/clients to identify trends, issues, and opportunities that support effective decision making. Monitor the day to day delivery of HR advisory services, coach advisory team members as required ensuring the provision of high level generalist advice is provided to clients, taking carriage of more complex enquiries or escalating as appropriate to the relevant HRBP. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support ongoing collaboration and delivery of HR activities. Manage and participate in Divisional programs and projects to broader organisational strategies. Undertake organisational development activities including job design and position description review and establishment variations. Contribute to the maintenance of the Advisory knowledge library in relation to the application of legislation, directives, policy and procedures as they relate to QBCC. Identify opportunities for improvement and encourage a culture of innovation and continual improvement. Prepare reports, submissions, and other correspondence of a complex nature in relation to a range of human resources issues.
