About the Role Reporting to the Coordinator People and Performance, you will be responsible for providing pragmatic and timely HR advice to leaders and employees, in line with organisational objectives, award and legislative requirements.
The role is vacant due to an internal promotion and you will work as an intrinsic member of a fast paced and adaptive People and Safety team, partner with your client groups to build employee capability, embed organisational culture, team connection, and provide guidance, support, and expertise on HR but more particularly on workplace relations matters.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Developing people leaders to achieve effective workplace relationships and enhanced people management capability and practices with early intervention a focus.
Provide considered ER/IR guidance, support, and training to people leaders in relation to performance management across their teams and undertake workplace investigations.
Ensure knowledge is shared throughout the organisation in relation to people and performance deliverables.
About You With a lens for change, continuous improvement, and nurturing relationships you will enjoy playing a pivotal role in providing advice, support and assistance to people leaders and employees.
Partnering with leaders in offices across a defined geographic region your focus will be on developing their capabilities through advising, coaching, and training.
With a natural ability to communicate with influence and build rapport with customers you are renowned as a problem solver with a willingness to research and find adaptive solutions for business problems.
Understandably, you will have strong writing skills and be comfortable presenting information in group settings.
While the above criteria are desirable, Council are also open to candidates who are looking for a new challenge and who are eager to further develop their career in Human Resources particularly in the ER/IR area.

In addition to a salary of up to $107K dependent upon experience you will receive the following benefits:
