This region possesses all the facilities and opportunities you would expect from a vibrant regional center including schools, sporting clubs, and great natural landscapes.The OpportunityThe Senior Human Resources Officer provides dedicated end-to-end business partnering support, guidance, and services to Council officers and senior leaders within Flinders Shire Council to achieve business outcomes.The role is responsible for providing high-level advice and assistance on a range of activities across Council's Human Resources function including day-to-day human resource management, recruitment, performance management, employee and industrial relations, and staff engagement, guidance and support, capability, and development.About YouDemonstrated experience in all areas of Human Resource Management, including performance management, recruitment, selection, and industrial relations.High-level knowledge of legislation, awards, agreements, policies, and procedures relating to Human Resources.Demonstrated ability to research, collate information, and provide written reports and recommendations.Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent, while not essential, would be highly regarded.Experience in a similar role within a large and complex organization.Experience in a local government environment.Applications for this vacancy will close – Friday, 12th July 2024.To ApplyApplications in Word format should be forwarded to us by clicking the 'Apply' button below.
