About the role
Emirates Leisure Retail Australia New Zealand (ELRANZ) are looking for a senior and experienced HR Business Partner reporting directly to the Head of People and Capability to proactively partner with operations leaders and employees across New Zealand (Auckland) and Australia (predominantly Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane).
With promising business growth, the role offers lots of opportunities to implement gold star P&C initiatives and projects. You will play a key role in delivering on business plan.
As the Senior People and Capability Business Partner you will provide business centric strategic and operational advice, lead IR/ER matters, identify and promote improved ways of working, and empower and coach/develop leaders.
Location : We welcome applicants from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of People & Capability you'll be responsible for the following:
Partner with and empower leaders on best practices for the end to end employee lifecycle (including but not limited to: talent acquisition, succession planning, award and legislation interpretation, reward and recognition, engagement, organisation design, change management and leadership development).
Manage employee & industrial relations matters.
Drive positive people outcomes, in our venture to be formally recognised as an employer of choice.
Lead gold standard proactive People Projects of your choosing.
Oversee the WH&S framework, proactively identify risks, eliminate hazards, and provide operational support with Workers Compensation and non-Workers Compensation cases.
Skills and Experience
You'll already have demonstrated business acumen, proven experience with rapid organisational growth and transformational change and an understanding of the drivers behind enhanced employee engagement and improved business performance.
You will also have the following:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, WH&S or a related business discipline.
Previous Senior level Experience in similar role with specific experience in ER/IR and/or Retail/FMCG/Multi Site environments.
Passion for operations, ability to think outside the box, and eagerness to work in a fast paced business with rapid transformational change.
Demonstrated ability in coaching and influencing leaders.
Prior experience with both Australian and New Zealand employment law – desirable.
