Some days, you will travel to the Kenmore office for meetings and office duties. A home-garaged car will be provided, and the position is initially offered as a six-month contract with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role.
What you can bring to the team Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, and medication support.Assist with domestic tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe living environment.Offer social support, transport to appointments, and assistance with shopping or outings.Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being.Participate in care plan reviews and ensure accurate documentation.Train and mentor Home Care Workers to maintain quality care delivery.To be suitable for the position, ideally you have: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.At least two years' experience in a direct care role.Proven ability to train and mentor team members.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.A current driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).Possess or willingness to obtain: Current National Police CertificateCurrent Influenza VaccinationAssisting in Medication CompetencyImportantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship, and Safety.
