Key job responsibilities:
As an Amazon Senior Finance Analyst, you will be a site controller for Fulfillment Centers, as well as driving network-wide initiatives, reporting, and cost analysis. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Uncovering Insights, Driving Optimization: Delve deep into financial data and operational metrics, meticulously analyzing trends, risks, and opportunities across individual Fulfillment Centers (FCs) and our broader fulfillment network.Mastering Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and forecasts to empower strategic decision-making.Collaborative Financial Reporting and Analysis: Partner closely with FC Controllers and Operations leaders, providing them with insightful financial reports, variance analysis, and strategic recommendations.Shaping Network-Level Strategy: Lend your financial acumen to network-level strategic planning, assessing the financial implications of network design, capacity changes, and other operational initiatives.Cross-Functional Collaboration for Innovation: Participate in dynamic, cross-functional teams, evaluating the financial impact of new processes, technologies, or business models for our FC operations.Continuous Improvement and Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance our financial reporting, visibility, and decision support capabilities. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience working with stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
