About the role – Permanent Fulltime The Senior Financial Accountant contributes to the performance of organisation wide financial functions, with a focus on providing accounting support to the Senior Manager, Financial Services (SMFS), especially regarding the monthly and annual accounting processes, engaging with external auditors and administration and continual improvement of the accounting software. There is also a focus on compliance and process improvement to ensure the overall effectiveness of the accounting system. Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Monthly accounting processes and management / committee reporting. Ensure the accuracy of the end of month reporting process, including the preparation of month end journals and reconciliations Responsible for the administration of the chart of accounts and cost centre structures Provide high-quality accounting support to the SMFS with any other ad-hoc tasks Capital expenditure reporting and budget development including accounting for Right of Use Assets About you: We are looking for more than just a financial expert; we want someone who shares our passion for creating positive change in the community.
