We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee the finance and accounting operations of our Scape Operational Assets. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with all relevant financial statutory requirements. You will be responsible for cash flow management, operational and investor reporting, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing our reporting and internal control processes, manage a team of accountants, and collaborate closely with the business, management team, investors, and other stakeholders.This is an exciting but challenging role where you will be involved in multiple projects simultaneously. You will need to be hard-working, organized, and able to prioritize effectively to keep pace. This role offers excellent opportunities for career advancement and will help you develop your skills in the property industry.Responsibilities:Manage the finance and accounting operations of the Scape Operational Assets.Ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with all relevant financial statutory requirements.Oversee cash flow management, operational, and investor reporting functions.Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.Improve reporting and internal control processes.Manage a team of accountants.Collaborate with the business, management team, investors, and other stakeholders.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEIf you are a highly skilled finance professional with a deep understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and corporate reporting, particularly within the property sector, we want to hear from you. You will have a proven track record of team management and talent development, coupled with strong technical skills and experience in month-end close and financial accounting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with all functional teams as our projects evolve from concept and development to world-class operating assets.Additional Skills:Team management and talent development.Highly developed technical skills with a working understanding of Australian accounting standards, taxation, and corporate reporting, preferably in the property sectors.Professionally qualified (CA/CPA) accountant.Previous experience within a Big 4 Firm at experienced manager/senior manager level.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience in month-end close and financial accounting.WHO WE ARE?Scape's vision is to be the Earth's best living company.
