Come and join the AusNet team as a Senior Engineer and help pave the way to a clean energy future by taking the driver's seat and providing expertise on distribution lines and structures.
This role will contribute to the once in a lifetime energy transition by ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our distribution network.

With a 3/2 Hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Southbank and is part of the Asset Management Team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Provide expertise on strategies, line performance, and technical specifications Contribute to the creation of equipment standards and maintenance of policies Develop concepts, prepare business cases, and manage project documentation Assist in implementing asset management and replacement initiatives Review and evaluate the condition of installed cables and distribution line assets Investigate equipment failures, draft reports, and make informed technical decisions Ensure all documentation is current and up to date and participate in audits Provide technical support for emergency response events as required You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Relevant training or qualification in Engineering Ensure safety in all engineering activities and decision-making processes Knowledge of asset management practices, regulatory frameworks, and standards Experience in developing and implementing strategic asset management plans Provide input on strategies, line performance, and technical specifications Strong ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration A real place to belong: We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives, and diversity in our team.
