Job DescriptionWhat will a day in this role look like: Build an advanced ecological technical practice supporting diverse projects and our clients' biggest challenges.Manage technical teams to deliver field investigations, impact assessment, and mitigation design.Responsible for outstanding client service through risk-based strategic advice and high-quality technical reporting.Implement efficiencies and digital solutions to collaborate and work smarter.Drive strategic growth, technical excellence, and innovation in ecological assessments and management planning for projects in transport, water security, energy, and future-fuels sectors.AECOM has a goal to leave a positive, lasting impact on people and our planet.

QualificationsWhat are we looking for from you? The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role.

Proven knowledge in fauna, flora, ecological communities, and ecosystems, with a focus on Queensland regions like the Brigalow Belt, North Queensland, and SEQ Bioregions.Ability to lead project delivery, engage with clients, and mentor a high-performing, sustainability-focused team across field and office-based work.Strong experience in navigating State and Commonwealth environmental approval processes and delivering strategic assessments.Proficiency in tools like GIS, remote sensing, and digital solutions to enhance project efficiency and tackle client challenges.Over 10 years of ecological experience, a relevant degree, and a valid Class C driver's license (4WD experience preferred).
