Providing sustainable water solutions for a better world
For decades AECOM has been providing water system services throughout ANZ with a focus on emerging technology and innovation. We are industry leaders in asset management as well as the full range of infrastructure and service planning, design, and construction.
Our multidisciplinary team in Cairns is looking for a Document Controller to support the delivery of a multi-year design and construction contract. The Document Controller will be an integral part of the contract administration team, responsible for the daily operations, document control and administration of the project. This is a fixed term 18-24 month contract. What will a day in this role look like: QA checking of all documentation for correct numbering, revision control, status, format, title and legibility. Receiving, tracking and issuing contractor design documentation. Assisting with preparation (including formatting) of weekly/monthly project reports, meeting minutes, and deliverables. Liaising with client counterpart – e.g. Document Controller, Project Administrator. Initially be Cairns CBD based and transition to our Gordonvale site office once construction commences mid to late 2024. Qualifications The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. What are we looking for from you? Proven general administration experience, ideally as a Document Controller, with working knowledge of document control software (preferably TeamBinder, but other systems will be highly regarded). Advanced in MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio and competent with MS Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise and consult with staff at all levels within the organisation and a range of external clients. Ability to take ownership and responsibility of your tasks and work.
