About the role: As a Senior DevOps Engineer on the Cloud & Infrastructure Operations team, you will play a key role in developing and supporting Origin's core cloud platform.
Reporting to the Platform Services Manager, this role will drive automation, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless platform operations to support the company's evolving technology needs.
Roles & Responsibilities Act as a technical leader & advisor within Cloud & Infrastructure Operations to inform and guide stakeholders towards the most effective IT outcomes.
Deliver and maintain core cloud capabilities and support cloud migrations.
Manage cloud environments, optimize resources, and ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness.
Lead cloud project delivery, including design, cost analysis, and ongoing support.
Implement and improve automation tools, processes and frameworks.
Build a knowledge base and share best practices across the organisation.
Provide 3rd level support for cloud issues and mentor teams across the business.
Continuously seek process improvements to maximize IT investment value.
What will you bring?
5+ years of DevOps experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments.
Expertise in automation and IaC (e.g Terraform, CloudFormation) across multi-account setups.
Scripting expertise in Python, Bash and Powershell.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g Github) Extensie experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS) and cloud workloads.
Solid understanding of IAM, Active Directory, and security protocols (SSo,SAML, OAUTH).
Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues and cloud-based monitoring.
Strong communication and documentation skills, with a focus on delivering business outcomes.
