About the position: About Smiles Chatswood is currently searching for a Senior Receptionist to work on our Care Dentistry side which focuses on Dental Implants, Aesthetic and complex Dentistry.
As the Senior Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient front office operation. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks to support our dental team.
This will be a full time position working - Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and every second Saturday.
This position requires a positive attitude, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling.
Administrative Support: Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing information about treatments and addressing patient concerns or complaints.
Report Generating: generate reports for the specialists, create treatment plans post specialist consultations for patients
Appointment Management: Coordinate and confirm appointments including general anaesthetic hospital appointments and IV Sedation appointments as needed, follow up on cancellations, and maintain the appointment calendar.
Billing and Insurance: Process payments, manage billing inquiries, and assist patients with payment plans and verification.
Records Management: Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance within regulations.
Office Organization: Keep the reception area tidy and organized, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and available.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication between front and back office.
