About the Role:
As the Dental Assistant Team Leader, you will lead a team of skilled dental assistants, ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards, assisting in dental procedures, and managing day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support the dental assisting team, ensuring seamless coordination with dentists and other staff. Oversee the adherence to infection control protocols and clinical best practices. Assist with chairside duties during procedures when necessary. Manage the ordering and stocking of dental supplies and maintain equipment. Ensure a high level of patient care and satisfaction. Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in Australia. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Thorough understanding of dental procedures, infection control, and patient care. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
