Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our team for a 6 month initial contract position. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our remediation project, utilizing your expertise in data analysis to drive actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets using SQL or SAS. Utilize Teradata for data querying and manipulation. Develop data models and algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders. Contribute to the development and implementation of remediation strategies based on data-driven insights. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through data analysis.
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services sector. Proficiency in SQL or SAS for data extraction and analysis. Experience with Teradata for data querying and manipulation. Familiarity with Python for data processing and scripting would be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
