The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analysts to join our team. The team is responsible for providing a wide range of digital services to support the business and operating environment of the department. These roles represent an exciting opportunity for an Analysts to join one of our multidisciplinary teams.
Working as part of an agile delivery team, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of requirements gathering activities. You will conduct investigations, undertake specialist or technical research and analysis activities of existing system integrations and data flows and providing data analysis capabilities alongside the provision of professional advice within an area of specialization based on systems knowledge, policy, and legislation.
As a data analyst, you will be required to:
Analysing and document existing data flows and system integrations. Utilise SQL for data manipulation and extraction. Bring a depth of experience in data-modelling and data governance concepts. Communicate and collaborate with a range of business and technical stakeholders to understand date flows for existing systems Work with data modellers and architects to establish data models and flows for new system developments and system integrations Work as part of a multidisciplinary project team using an agile delivery model Essential criteria Proven experience analysing and documenting data flows and system integrations for complex business systems Expert knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and extraction Experience in data-modelling, data flows, and data governance concepts Experience working in multidisciplinary agile delivery teams and delivering to project timeframes Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including engaging with technical and non-technical audiences and building relationships with stakeholders Desirable criteria Experience with data migration planning and execution #J-18808-Ljbffr
