The role involves a variety of projects and services-based work, focused on automation / control systems and solutions, primarily in the Infrastructure, Water, Manufacturing, and Gas industries.We are looking for someone with passion and drive who will be responsible for:Designing, developing, commissioning, and supporting automation and electrical systems in both project and service environments Learning from more experienced engineers whilst executing on project tasksConsistently meeting predefined project and engineering targetsContributing to the development of best practice methodologies, software, systems, procedures and uptake of the latest technologies.The successful applicant will have:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or Mechatronics EngineeringMinimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant engineering roleDemonstrable experience applying an engineering approach to problem solvingMature technology skillset, code development skills and methodologies (exposure to IEC 61131-3 Programming Languages an asset)Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Schneider Unity, and Aveva System Platform.Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively, both autonomously and within a teamInitiative & a positive attitude towards continuous improvement & self-developmentThis position is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents.This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person, who will receive excellent remuneration in line with skills and experience.
