This re-energized team come from diverse industry backgroundsand display a genuine openness to fresh ideas and contemporarypractices in procurement and contracts management. They are seekingan outcome driven contracts professional, who can lead, negotiate,and deliver strategic improvements to the contracts managementfunction that ultimately delivers value to TAFE SA
You will work with a supportive manager, dynamic colleagues andenjoy career development opportunities and successes across theshort, medium, and long term.
Your new role will involve: Management of awarded contracts for timely negotiation,renewal and maximising value-add for business unitsParticipation in the procurement process leading to anawarded contract, providing contract management advice,guidance and expert knowledge to Procurement SpecialistsContinuous improvement of the contracts managementframeworkMonitor project activities against agreed schedules andmonitor KPI's to achieve objectivesThe provision of all required reporting to relevantstakeholders in relation to purchase contractsCoordination where required, of high-level research andanalysis of complex and sensitive issuesWork to project schedules to manage coordination issues andmitigate risks/delaysDriving the internal brand of contracts management withinTAFE SA, working collaboratively with your stakeholders tosupport outcomesWhat you will get in return: You will work with an experienced manager, who is investedin your developmentFurther study support is available, including studyleaveWhilst being predominantly based at Regency Park, you willhave flexibility to work from home and other campuses asdetermined by your contracts portfolio.The procurement and contracts management team are varied intheir experience and tenure at TAFE SA. You will work alongsideexperts who come from a diverse industry background, such asstate and local government, energy, Defence andmanufacturingYou will gain exposure to varied and interesting contractsmanagement activities, across many categories including ICT, FMand servicesWhat you will need to apply: Contracts management experience and demonstrable knowledgein negotiating terms and drafting contractsTertiary qualifications beneficialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsYou will display proactive problem-solving abilities, and acontinuous improvement mindsetYou will be a community minded individual, passionate aboutensuring the delivery quality education for TAFE SAstudentsDemonstrated relationship building skillsApplicants will be required to undergo the appropriate andrelevant Employment Screening Assessments required for thisrole, including a Working With Children CheckApplication Instructions
