This firm specialises in the delivery of high-end commercial fitout, refurbishment and new build projects in the hospitality, retail, industrial, government, and education sectors. The project values range from $10M - $30M. Having an already well-established relationship with several high-profile clients, this company has a strong pipeline with several exciting projects across their specialised sectors lined up. As such, this company is seeking to employ a Senior Contracts Administrator to help oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish in their Sydney division.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As the Senior Contracts Administrator, you will report directly to the Project Manager. You will work collaboratively with the site, design, and project team to deliver multiple projects across Sydney NSW, from the design stages through to completion. These projects range up to $30M. You will liaise with the client and the project team to ensure that the project is delivered on time, and to a high standard.
DUTIES. Handle all contractual variations or issues with diligence Maintain project documents and assets Monitor/track financial status Mentor, train and support the Contract Administrator and Cadet Prepare monthly cost reports and forecast financial goals Prepare the documentation required for the procurement of subcontractors including tenders, pricing and the scope of work tender. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Stakeholder Management Strong communication and interpersonal skills Leadership Problem solving skills Strong negotiation and influencing skills Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar. Solid local experience working as a Contracts Administrator across commercial building projects Understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues pertaining to contracts. Working knowledge of major building trades
