Job Description
What's on offer? An opportunity has presented for a suitably experienced and self-motivated Senior Commercial Manager to join our Infrastructure Services team based in Victoria and reporting to the General Manager. This position will enable you to provide strategic commercial advice while supporting the project team throughout the contract delivery cycle.
You will work closely with business, as well as the estimating and operational teams to mitigate risk and identify any opportunities. You will proactively participate in strategy development and business planning and build positive, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Day to day you will:
Direct contract planning, negotiations and compilation;
Manage project forecasting and end of month procedures;
Ensure the company conforms to its statutory and legal obligations under relevant legislation for corporate activities, including those of subsidiaries;
Ensure that Confidentiality Agreement and Contracts & Agreements registers are properly maintained;
Provide commercial input in support of business development activities;
Lead the commercial team to optimise the region's commercial interests.
How you'll connect to the role? As a subject-matter expert with a degree in Engineering or Law, you will demonstrate strong communication skills, and be able to effectively engage at all levels from executives to engineers and administrators, as well as external stakeholders.
You will have the ability to quickly develop rapport and take ownership of commercial activities that will influence positive outcomes. With your experience in the Construction industry and operational expertise and leadership, you will be able to quickly understand areas of concern and risk.
Your aptitude to both prioritise and problem solve will assist us in driving successful outcomes. We are flexible with experience as this would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager ready to advance and make a significant impact.
