Job Description


What you'll do:
As an experienced commercial credit underwriter, you'll assess working capital and asset finance requirements for large SMEs and small corporate customers.
You'll be responsible for the evaluation, structuring and documentation of credit facilities. This will require direct conduct due diligence on complex businesses, applying credit policies and lending guidelines in conjunction with using your judgement to deliver sound customer-centric decisions.
As an experienced underwriter you'll be making pragmatic and rational decisions, considering the "four C's of credit" whilst delivering a quality customer experience.




Qualifications


What you'll bring:

Strong financial acumen with a proven ability to interpret and interrogate financial statements as part of credit assessments.
Previous experience assessing large SMEs and corporates for credit limits to support repeat asset purchases and/or working capital (e.g., trade finance, overdrafts or debtor finance) is highly desired.
A relationship manager mindset with strong credit experience looking to deliver great outcomes for Australian businesses.
Previously held delegated lending authority.
Finance or Accounting qualifications (preferred but not essential).
