(pro rata) + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Permanent part-time working 18.75 hours per week About the Role Join our dedicated team as a Senior Clinical/Health Psychologist within the cancer PREVENT Program, an innovative allied health-led model of care at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In this vital role, you will provide essential psychology services to inpatients during the acute phase of their cancer treatment, focusing on optimising their mental health, physical health and overall wellbeing. Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring that patients receive holistic support tailored to their unique needs.
As an experienced clinician, you'll play a key role in shaping patient outcomes by delivering evidence-based psychological interventions. Your insights will contribute to a comprehensive care approach, helping to alleviate the emotional and psychological challenges faced by individuals with cancer.
About You We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Clinical/Health Psychologist to join our PREVENT team. To excel in this role, you should possess the following key qualifications and attributes:
Qualifications: Hold a Master's Degree in Clinical or Health Psychology, be registered with the PsychBA, endorsed in your area of practice, and hold approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision. Expertise in Assessment and Intervention: Ability to independently design and evaluate complex evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions for cancer patients. Collaborative Communicator: Strong skills in communication, teamwork, and the ability to provide specialist consultancy to various stakeholders.
