Senior Business Services Accountant

Lead Group, a renowned business advisory firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Business Services and Advisory team in Sydney. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.Key Responsibilities:Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.Utilize accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, to deliver high-quality services.Provide tax planning and business advisory services, analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist clients in monitoring performance.Develop strong relationships with clients and promote the firm's services through quality product delivery.Identify potential additional work opportunities among current clients and contribute to the firm's growth.Requirements:3+ years of experience in Business Services with strong technical skills.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications.Understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Expertise in accounting software, including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools.Australian work rights, citizenship, or permanent residency status.About the Firm:Lead Group supports career progression and offers opportunities for professional development.
