Senior Business Partner - Human Resources
Our team is growing! Following an internal promotion, we are currently recruiting for a motivated and experienced full-time Senior Business Partner – People, Culture & Wellness. We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive difference and provide support for both leaders and employees in a collaborative effort to uphold RetireAustralia's vision of placing our residents at the centre of the decisions we make.To be successful in this role, you will have experience in all aspects of HR with expertise in employee relations and performance management. You will have the ability to analyse stakeholder requests and make decisions that are in line with compliance, the organisation, and the employee's best interests.Reporting to the National Manager– People, Culture & Wellness you will:Provide professional operational human resources advice including interpretation of People, Culture & Wellness policies and procedures, employment legislation and management of change to your allocated client group.Provide proactive specialist human resources advice to operational business leaders to enable performance management guidance (coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary advice) provoking positive changes in the development of people and performance improvement.Provide full-level advice on employee relations issues and conduct effective, fit-for-purpose and objective investigations of arising matters.Enable and empower leaders to facilitate effective people management by taking a coaching approach, supported by analysis of trends, metrics and management information.Facilitate effective workforce planning with leaders to identify the capacity and capability of the organisation to deliver its objectives.Partner with your assigned client group to implement approved organisational restructures through effective change management processes.Support the Workplace, Health and Safety function in injury management and ensure activities associated with the successful return to work of injured workers are coordinated and implemented.Be aware of psychosocial risks and factors, partnering with leaders to mitigate risk.Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance, and escalate for specialist advice and management as required.Work closely with the broader PCW team on initiatives and programs to enhance the overall people experience at RA.About youA minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.Demonstrated knowledge of People, Culture & Wellness systems.Sound knowledge of Employee Relations Legislation.Ability to liaise at all levels, build rapport with strong communication skills and the ability to influence.Demonstrated understanding of employment laws, regulations and best practice.Proactive, empathetic and approachable.National Police Clearance (current).Tertiary qualifications in HR, Psychology, or equivalent.Who we areRetireAustralia is a leading private owner, operator and developer of retirement villages with a focus on creating thriving communities where older Australians live the life they choose in their own homes.With customers at the centre, a wonderful culture, and an ambitious growth strategy in a sector experiencing rapid expansion and diversification, RetireAustralia is an employer of choice for individuals who want to make their mark.To take the next step in your career click 'APPLY NOW' to complete our online application.
