Leadership role in a highly sophisticated top-tier firmSydney or Melbourne location14 month fixed term contract$230,000 - $250,000 inc superAmpersand have partnered with a top-tier international law firm who are passionate about delivering outstanding legal services and strategic insights to their clients to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager on an initial 14-month contract.Reporting into a highly regarded Director of Business Development, this is a leadership position which will see you accountable for driving the initiatives for the Private Capital industry initiatives across the APAC region. It's a crucial hire, where the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping industry engagement strategy and collaborate with the Australia Industry Chair and Regional Practice Head.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with the Regional Director and partnership to refine and implement the industry program, identifying growth opportunities and best practices.Implement and execute corporate development strategies that maximise revenue growth.Provide coaching and strategic insights relevant to the Private Capital Industry to senior leaders within the firm.Manage the opportunity pursuit process, coordinating with partners on pipelines and strategic pursuits.Design and execute revenue-generating marketing campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.Nurture and grow a couple of carefully selected regional client accounts.Arrange and participate in client listening sessions to gather insights and follow up on feedback.Qualifications:Previous experience in business development or client management within a law firm or professional services environment, with a focus on Private Capital and Funds Management.Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive revenue growth.Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.Strong leadership capabilities and a track record of managing a small team.The successful candidate will be given a seat at the table and an opportunity to influence Private Capital industry strategy and contribute to the firm's success in a collaborative and innovative environment.
