About the Role As a Business Analyst in our Infrastructure and Service Management Program, you will play a critical role in understanding, documenting, and aligning business requirements with infrastructure and service management projects. You'll work closely with technical teams to assess current infrastructure, define areas for improvement, and ensure that upgrades align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Assessment and Planning Collaborate with technical teams to assess existing infrastructure and identify enhancement opportunities. Ensure infrastructure upgrades align with the broader business strategy and objectives. Service Management Identify and document system components for inclusion in the CMDB (Configuration Management Database). Support service mapping and CMDB remediation activities alongside service providers. Monitoring and Reporting Define success metrics and develop dashboards to monitor infrastructure upgrades and operational improvements. Conduct post-implementation reviews, capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement. Technical Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, end-user compute, telecommunications, and cloud platforms. Experience with infrastructure upgrades and migrations. Knowledge of IT performance monitoring tools and reporting. Familiarity with ITSM and ITIL principles; CMDB knowledge is advantageous. Experience in process modeling and supporting new process adoption. Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
