Senior Business Analyst

Initial 8 month contract + possible extension Brisbane CBD Hybrid and flexible working available – 3 days per week on-site

In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst. In this role, you'll bring your expertise in Agile business requirements to a modernisation project with a significant impact on state services, safety, and compliance.

What you'll be doingScoping business requirements in an Agile ICT projectLeading requirements gathering, modelling, and stakeholder engagementCollaborating on user story creation and DevOps processesSupporting program alignment and guiding product-focused developmentBuilding positive relationships across teams and stakeholders What you need to bringProven experience in Agile analysis for complex projectsStrong stakeholder negotiation and communication skillsKnowledge of predictive and adaptive requirements approachesProficiency with BPMN, UML, and traceability methodsAbility to represent Product Owners and guide teams Bonus points for…Immediate or short-term availabilityConsulting background (Tier 1, 2, or 3 firms)Experience in digital or business transformationFamiliarity with CRM or case management (e.g., Dynamics 365, JIRA)
