Leading Australian bank seeking Senior BA to lead discovery and delivery of financial crimes program.
Your new company
Hays have partnered with one of Australia's leading banking institutions to appoint a Senior Business Analyst in their Financial Crimes program. With an initial 12-months on offer, and a strong chance of extension, this isn't one you want to miss!
Your new role
As the Senior BA, you'll be responsible for leading and participating in the discovery and delivery phase of the Financial Crimes program of work. Ensuring complex process design and compliance are effectively managed, your key duties will include:
Facilitating effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams by leveraging delivery tools (Jira, Confluence). Ensure clear articulation and documentation of business and testing requirements, fostering collaboration with technical teams to achieve alignment.Plan, run and document workshops to gather requirements, validate processes, and ensure stakeholder alignment on project goals.Lead end-to-end project pieces within the Financial Crimes Program, from initial discovery through to final delivery.Influence a wide range of stakeholders and be able to communicate with people at all levels.Design and optimise complex business processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency, aligning with the program's objectives. Also, be able to identify opportunities for process improvement, driving initiatives that enhance efficiency, effectiveness and compliance.What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Senior Business Analyst, with demonstrated experience in Financial Crimes programs (ideally with exposure to customer risk assessment). You'll possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards, as well as the ability to lead end-to-end pieces of work and work autonomously with minimal supervision. You'll be comfortable talking and presenting to multiple different types and groups of stakeholders, and possess an analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
What you'll get in return
You'll be offered an initial 12-month contract, with a strong chance of extension. You'll be remunerated at a daily rate up to $1141.15/day incl. superannuation, as well as offered hybrid working and weekly pay cycles with no hidden agency fees.
