Key ResponsibilitiesManage accounts/transactions for multiple venues/entitiesBank reconciliations/cash flow managementAccounts payableBAS and PAYG reportingPayroll taxSupport for payroll during leaveRelationship building and management, internally and externallyMaintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements and complianceDevelop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing/maintaining a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and proceduresMaintain general ledger by transferring inter-entity account transactionsBalance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entriesPrepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trendsComply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actionsEnsure integration of other systems used within the business with XeroCollaborate with the internal and external accountantsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededBookkeeper Qualifications / SkillsDeveloping standardsAnalyzing informationDealing with complexityCommunicationData entry skillsAccountingAttention to detailConfidentialityThoroughnessTeam playerEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements5 years previous bookkeeping experience a mustExperience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellasSystems integration experience is preferredNight Owl is a flexible employer with working locations across Perth.

The full-time salary range is $80,000 to $95,000.
