Senior Associate, Real Estate Debt

Our client is a Global Investment Manager with substantial funds under management, spanning across debt & equity and through multiple asset classes. They offer access across various geographies and angles of real estate, whilst boasting impressive leadership and growth plans here in Australia.This autonomous role will sit within a small and experienced team, reporting into the Head of Debt.Role Responsibilities:Financial modelling and deal screening of loan investments.Preparation and co-ordination of IC papers obtaining approval for new investment opportunities.Preparation of term sheet documentation for investment opportunities.Legal documentation review on transactions.Management of full cycle deal execution.Debt portfolio management, including relationship management, covenant monitoring and dealing with necessary variations & approvals.Assistance on third-party capital raising initiatives for the Debt business including debt funds and separate account mandates.The maintenance of strong external networks and relationships across the debt market in Australia and New Zealand including Sponsors, Borrowers, Investors and Consultants to assist with the growth and positive reputation of the APAC Debt business in the market.Minimum Requirements:To succeed in the role, you will ideally hold upwards of six years' experience in Real Estate Debt markets, funds management or Banking industries. Key technical skills required are financial modelling, report writing, as well as strong communication skills both verbal and written.
